Our story
We noticed the lack of durable, engaging coins our own children received, so we started making the ones we wished existed.
Most coins and tokens kids bring home are gone by the end of the week. Thin plastic, flat designs, nothing worth keeping. Mythical Mint was founded in 2017 to fill that gap with collectibles that actually last: heavy, detailed on both faces, and sturdy enough to be handled, traded, and passed down.
We started with a set of pirate coins. Then came the leprechauns, a lucky coin, the Mystical Power Coin, the B.S.C. Coin, and the Mythic Mash series, where two legendary creatures face off on a single coin. Every one is designed to be striking on a shelf and fun in your hand.
Mythical Mint is a sister brand to Medal Blocks, a small Arizona business that makes clear acrylic displays for race medals, challenge coins, and keepsakes. Both brands grew from the same belief: the things that mean something to you deserve better than a junk drawer.
That is why quality comes first here. Medal Blocks taught us that people notice the weight and clarity of the things they keep. We hold our coins to the same standard. Solid metal instead of plastic, high-relief detail instead of flat printing, and designs with a story behind them.
What we care about
Minted heavy and built to last. If it does not feel substantial in your hand, it does not make the cut.
Leprechauns and shamrocks, the Hand of Hamsa, pirate treasure. Every design starts with a symbol worth carrying.
Collectibles should make you smile. Some of ours make you laugh, and one of them forecasts your mood.
Questions?
Mythical Mint and Medal Blocks share a small team, so we keep support in one place. For questions about an order, a product, or a bulk request, reach out to Medal Blocks and we will get back to you. Want to show off your coin? Medal Blocks makes displays for that too.
